Within the Data Science and Model Integration group of DRiVE (Datascience Rigs and Vehicle Engineering) team, the candidate will be the main responsible for managing integrated model infrastructure and Fast Running and Real time plant model development for different vehicle domains (Electrical, Gas-dynamics, Cooling/Thermal, …)
Benchmarking of BR’s approach to XiL tools to best in class companies, within and outside automotive
Reference for MiL platforms management and maintenance
Responsible for feasibility studies for existing HiL system upgrade or new HiL system design:
Breakdown of high-level system requirements from validation and calibration teams into detailed technical requirements
Supplier identification
Timing and budget definition
Design responsible of new HiL tools:
Wiring harness and loadplates design
System configuration
Real Time models deployment
Suppliers’ management
Definition of project time and cost
Responsible for new XiL methodologies development
Previous experience within an automotive OEM or automotive service company (at least three years).
Advanced engineering degree in Electronic, Mechatronic Engineering or equivalent.
Experience with major HiL toolchain (i.e. dSPACE, SpeedGoat, Concurrent, …).
Excellent knowledge of Matlab Simulink, Python is a plus.
Experience with automotive BUS standards (CAN, LIN).
Experience in both experimental and simulation techniques applied to automotive development
Excellent team player and communicator, able to work effectively with cross functional teams
Ability to organize multiple technical inputs, summarize and present to top management
Strong problem-solving skills, along with an ability to manage a varied workload, to tight deadlines
Able to work at a fast pace and with a high degree of accuracy and flexibility
An open mind and curiosity to apply new approaches to existing problems
