About us

We are a technology powerhouse that designs, engineers, and manufactures the world's most advanced automotive technology and hypercars. Bytes to bolts, Rimac is where everything happens.

Our teams develop and produce both hardware and software solutions for our flagship, record-breaking hypercar, the Nevera, as well as for other automotive manufacturers’ vehicles. Working on technology solutions for partners such as Porsche, Hyundai, Aston Martin, Koenigsegg, Automobili Pininfarina, and others, gives Rimac a unique position of a technology leader in the high-performance electric vehicle industry. The stakes are high.

As a fast-moving company, we nurture a high-performing culture. If you are interested in joining, you must be prepared for relentless learning, adapting, and embracing new technologies. We expect an easy-going person, but also self-driven, entrepreneurial, and highly independent in their work, that will enjoy rising to the challenge and have fun pushing the limits of technology.

Our expectations are high. And we can only achieve our goals with the dedication and collaboration of our exceptional team. Our ambition is to deliver and go the extra mile. We need to expand our already industry-leading team, find the best people, and lead the charge.

1. Tasks:

Regular tasks

  • Test Case Configuration & Execution: Configure and execute XIL (Hardware-in-the-loop) test cases for system validation, ensuring correct functionality of the systems. Labcar testing will be part of the test cases environment execution
  • System Setup & Integration: Set up, integrate, and configure XIL systems (dSpace & Speedgoat) for simulating and testing powertrain, thermal, HV and Charging systems
  • Modeling & Simulation: Develop, modify, and test dynamic system models using Matlab and Simulink for vehicle subsystems
  • Data Collection & Analysis: Perform testing on various automotive systems, collect data, analyze test results, and generate detailed reports to communicate findings.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify, diagnose, and resolve issues related to hardware, software, and system configurations during test execution.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional engineering teams and suppliers to identify system issues, define test strategies, and propose corrective actions.

Occasional tasks

  • Matlab tools creation for simulation or analysis
  • Support Vehicle Testing activities

2. Responsibilities:

  • System Validation: Ensure the accurate validation of automotive systems through precise XIL and Labcar testing, identifying potential risks and performance issues.

  • Test Reporting: Responsible for documenting all test activities, results, and deviations, providing clear, actionable insights to the engineering teams.

  • Continuous Improvement: Take ownership of improving the testing process, proposing new techniques or tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

  • Compliance: Ensure that all testing activities comply with relevant automotive industry standards, protocols, and safety regulations.

  • Test Planning: Plan and prepare test cases based on system requirements, specifications, and project timelines, ensuring all necessary scenarios are covered

3. Required skills and competencies:

  • Expertise in XIL Systems ( DSpace): Deep knowledge of configuring and operating XIL systems (Hardware-in-the-loop) with Dspace systems for system simulation and validation. Speedgoat Systems knowledge is considered as a plus.
  • Proficiency in Dynamic System Simulation (Matlab & Simulink): Strong experience with Matlab and Simulink for developing, modifying, and simulating dynamic system models, especially for powertrain, HV and Charging Systems
  • High Proficiency in ETAS & Vector Tools: Extensive experience with ETAS (hardware and software tools for ECU testing) and Vector tools (such as CANoe, CANalyzer, and other diagnostic tools), for performing tests, data analysis, and system diagnostics in automotive applications.
  • System Testing & Troubleshooting: Advanced skills in configuring and executing test cases, troubleshooting complex system, hardware, or software issues, and performing root cause analysis during testing phases.
  • Understanding of Automotive Systems: In-depth knowledge of automotive subsystems, including powertrain,, with the ability to interpret and validate system behavior under test conditions.
  • Knowledge of Scrum Agile & V-Cycle Methodologies: Familiarity with Scrum Agile methodologies for managing and delivering engineering projects in iterative cycles, working in cross-functional teams, and handling evolving requirements. Strong understanding of the V-Cycle testing and development process, ensuring that all stages from system design to validation are properly executed and validated in parallel.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Ability to analyze test data, identify patterns, and create comprehensive reports that highlight key findings, conclusions, and recommendations for design teams.
