Regular tasks:

As a Technical support engineer in the Technology department, you will  support the technical leader on all technical topics including electronics components and software. 

 

You will work closely with the suppliers and engineers, providing insights that helps improve supply chain efficiency and support the wider business objectives. 

This role involves a mix of technical engineering, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration with key stakeholders across the business.

 

You will support the Technology department by managing development of both hardware and software electronics and helping technical leader with regularly updating and managing CRs, Deviations, PR/POs and all development documentation needed.

You will use your own initiative to create solutions to problems, exercising knowledge of Computer Engineering and CAN communication to develop meaningful insights.

 

You will be responsible for ensuring process documents are up to date, reflective of the current ways of working, and are as efficient as possible.

 

Occasional tasks:

Support the technical lead in ad-hoc presentations or administrative issues.

Support RFI,RFQ,PR,PO.

 

Decision-making authorities:

DVP Management:
Manage electronics and software issue trackers, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information on RCA, current issue status and clear next steps.

 

Decision Support:
Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to procurement managers for decision-making on software update, hardware changes and issue management.

 

Collaboration:
Liaise with internal departments (e.g., project management, purchasing, finance, production, quality assurance, marketing, logistics, sales and aftersales) to gather and share data and insights.

 

Managerial authorities:

No direct reports for this role at present.

Expected to advise, support and liaise with team members as part of job role.

 

Responsabilities:

Data Collection & Analysis:
Help in collecting, and analysing development data (e.g., supplier performance, lead times) to provide actionable insights.

 

Reporting & Dashboard Development:
Help in developing and maintaining regular reports on development metrics, including cost savings, supplier performance, delivery timelines,. 

 

Risk Management Support:
On the day-by-day job , help the technical leader in identifying Technology dept risks (e.g., supplier reliability, development critical paths) and proposing mitigation strategies to the leadership.

 

Process Improvement:
On the field, help the technical leader in identifying  inefficiencies in processes and implement recommendations for process.
