1. Tasks:

 

  • Develop, Implement, and Maintain QMS: Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949) and regulatory requirements, regularly review and update QMS documentation
  • Audit Planning and Execution: Conduct internal and external audits to assess the effectiveness of the QMS, identify areas for improvement, and ensure continuous compliance with industry standards
  • Root Cause Analysis: Investigate quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to mitigate risks
  • Provide training to employees on quality standards, QMS processes, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Monitor key quality metrics (KPIs), analyze data trends, and report on the overall effectiveness of the QMS
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the organization, leveraging lean principles and other quality improvement methodologies
  • Lead the supplier evaluation and qualification process, assessing potential suppliers against the company’s quality, cost, delivery, and risk criteria
  • Conduct on-site and remote audits of suppliers to evaluate their capabilities, quality systems, and compliance with industry and company standards
  • Perform risk assessments of suppliers based on factors such as financial stability, quality performance, capacity, and geographical location
  • Work closely with the procurement, engineering, and product development teams to ensure that suppliers meet the technical and quality requirements for new and existing products
  • Establish and maintain supplier scorecards to track performance metrics and drive improvements in quality, delivery, and service
  • Engage in supplier development activities to enhance supplier capabilities and ensure alignment with company standards
  • Prepare detailed reports and documentation related to supplier evaluations, audit findings, and nomination decisions

 

2. Responsibilities:

 

  • Perform detailed audits of potential and existing suppliers to assess their quality management systems, production capabilities, and adherence to industry standards
  • Lead the qualification process for new suppliers, ensuring they meet all required quality standards before being approved for production
  • Ensure that suppliers comply with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and specific customer quality requirements
  • Review and approve supplier documentation related to quality processes, materials, and certifications.
  • Draft, negotiate, and maintain quality agreements with suppliers that outline expectations, responsibilities, and quality metrics
  • Establish and communicate quality standards and specifications that suppliers must adhere to
  • Lead supplier development programs aimed at improving supplier capabilities, quality, and performance
  • Provide training and support to suppliers on quality management principles, industry standards, and specific customer requirements
  • Prepare and present reports on supplier performance, audit findings, non-conformances, and corrective actions to management
  • Ensure that all supplier-related documentation, including audit reports, CAPAs, and quality agreements, are accurately maintained and accessible

 

3. Required skills and competencies:

 

  • Experience and knowledge of Engineering across multiple commodities or as a specialist in one commodity
  • Experience in automotive quality management either at a supplier or OEM
  • Strong understanding of QMS standards (e.g., IATF 16949), auditing principles, and supplier evaluation methodologies
  • Proven track record in conducting supplier evaluations and managing supplier quality
  • Strong knowledge of supplier evaluation techniques, including audit methodologies and risk assessment tools
  • Demonstrable experience of delivering QA standards related to parts QA against time & cost constraints
  • Computer literate with excellent presentation skills to senior management level
  • Can communicate convincingly and professionally to management within Bugatti Rimac & at suppliers
  • Experience with VDA, AIAG, IATF, ASPICE would be a benefit
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills with ability to communicate all levels
  • Excellent organizational skills
