Key duties and responsibilities:

  • Defining and agreeing high level testing plan taking input from all relevant stake holders
  • Organizing staff and resources to ensure effective execution of testing
  • Identification and implementation of improvements in methodology, processes and facilities
  • Leading a team of internal and external engineers to ensure successful testing and analysis of data including mentoring and development of staff
  • Supporting vehicle development activity at other locations/facilities where required

Qualification & Experience:

  • At least ten years of experience within an automotive OEM or automotive service company with at least five years in a testing related role
  • In-depth knowledge of modern hybrid and electric vehicles and powertrains
  • In-depth knowledge of modern automotive testing systems and facilities
  • An engineering degree in an appropriate discipline or equivalent.
  • Experience with typical testing software and tools e.g. INCA, Concerto, MDA, Matlab
