Key duties and responsibilities:
- Defining and agreeing high level testing plan taking input from all relevant stake holders
- Organizing staff and resources to ensure effective execution of testing
- Identification and implementation of improvements in methodology, processes and facilities
- Leading a team of internal and external engineers to ensure successful testing and analysis of data including mentoring and development of staff
- Supporting vehicle development activity at other locations/facilities where required
Qualification & Experience:
- At least ten years of experience within an automotive OEM or automotive service company with at least five years in a testing related role
- In-depth knowledge of modern hybrid and electric vehicles and powertrains
- In-depth knowledge of modern automotive testing systems and facilities
- An engineering degree in an appropriate discipline or equivalent.
- Experience with typical testing software and tools e.g. INCA, Concerto, MDA, Matlab
