Tasks & Responsibilities
- Act as the central contact point for issue management across departments (Engineering, Quality, Production, etc.).
- Register, track, and prioritize issues in the issue management system
- Facilitate cross-functional meetings/workshops to review open issues, root cause analysis, and action plans.
- Ensure proper classification (severity, priority, impact) of issues in alignment with company standards.
- Monitor progress of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) until issue closure.
- Escalate critical issues to management according to escalation rules.
- Prepare and present regular issue status reports and KPIs (open issues, resolution times, overdue cases).
- Support problem-solving methods (e.g., 8D, Ishikawa, 5-Why) and ensure proper documentation.
- Coordinate with cross functional team regarding issue resolution and containment actions.
- Ensure compliance with automotive standards (IATF 16949, ISO 9001, etc.) in issue management.
- Continuously improve the issue management process (tools, workflows, and reporting).
Skills & Competences
- Knowledge of automotive development and production processes (APQP, PPAP).
- Familiarity with automotive quality standards (IATF 16949, VDA guidelines).
- Experience with issue tracking tools
- Understanding of problem-solving methodologies (8D, 5-Why, Ishikawa).
- Strong communication and moderation skills for cross-functional and international teams.
- Analytical and structured working approach.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple issues under time pressure.
- Conflict management and escalation handling.
- Stakeholder management and reporting to different hierarchy levels.
- Project coordination and documentation skills.
- IT skills including Microsoft Office and custom applications.
- English language skills
