The Battery Systems Engineering team requires Engineers with experience to lead the system development of a customer focussed battery project. The successful candidate will support the technical solution of a functional, safe, and compliant Battery System. Responsibilities
• Analyse customer requirements and communicate system requirements to HW, SW, Testing, and mechanical development
• Define architecture on system, mech., HW, and SW, level and define interfaces
• Support derivation of the technical/functional safety concept
• Support System and Design reviews, coordinate DFMEA, risk analysis and release of the design
• Develop verification, validation and integration strategy, and testing from the prototype phase through to homologation and document requirement fulfilment
• Conduct root cause analysis to contain issues
• Prioritize, analyze the impact, implement, and document change requests
Requirements
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Automotive, Aerospace or Systems Engineering
• At least 2 years of experience in automotive systems or industrial experience within a complex multidisciplinary product environment. Experience with HV Battery systems and knowledge of system design with Lithium based battery cell
• Understanding of Systems / Requirement Engineering & Tools (e.g IBM DOORS, JAMA)
• Experience in safe working practices around HV systems, legislative requirements, and homologation standards
• Experience with MS office tools
