For our Zagreb team, we are seeking a highly skilled Body Systems Engineer – Interior Panel to lead the design and development of interior trims system for our automotive products. This role requires strong technical expertise, lead capabilities, and experience in working with ultralow volume automotive production. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and external suppliers, driving the development of innovative and reliable interior systems. The role will cover the a particular area of the interior panel, in particular:
Dashboard
Central console/Tunnel
Upper trims
Lower trims
Doors
1. Main tasks:
Occasional tasks:
Generating 3D models, feasible sections, assemblies and 2D/3D drawings using 3DX Experience
Support other teams in their activities.
Develop test JIGs and assembly fixtures for testing
2. Required skills and competencies:
Education: Minimum BSc or BEng in Automotive, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in the automotive industry
Expertise in surface modeling (GSD module in CATIA)
Experience in CAD software, preferably CATIA V5 or V6
Proficiency in MS Office tools
Good knowledge of vehicle components and functionalities
Experience with various manufacturing technologies
Attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work
Self-motivated and self-organized work ethic
Ability to work under pressure and collaboratively within teams
Basic knowledge of electronics and electrical engineering
Solid understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
Excellent command of English (written and spoken)
