Responsibilities
- Manage the procurement process for indirect goods and services, including sourcing, negotiating, and contract management in line with company procedures
- Handle purchase orders (PO creation and dispatch to suppliers, delivery follow-up, PO tracking, and reporting)
- Supporting in defining commodity strategies
- Facilitate effective communication and relationships between internal stakeholders (requesters, warehouse, accounting, legal…) and the purchasing department
- Address issues related to non-supplied, under-ordered, over-ordered, and damaged goods
- Managing contracts together with legal department and other related stakeholders in accordance with company policies
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure best pricing and service levels
- Monitor market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
- Identify alternative suppliers in line with defined standards
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant regulations
- Prepare and present reports on purchasing activities, savings, and supplier performance
- Meet department and company goals and KPIs
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Minimum 4 years of experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably in indirect categories (manufacturing related)
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Excellent organizational and analytical abilities with a positive can-do attitude
- Knowledge of ERP systems is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with procurement software is a plus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
