As an Embedded Hardware Test Engineer, you will be responsible for testing and validation of electronic devices on electronic hardware level. During that process you will cooperate with people from other departments and units like embedded software engineers, mechanical engineers, designers, purchasing, quality and others in common goal to deliver high performance, reliable, optimized and groundbreaking ECUs for Bugatti automotive projects.
Working across electrical engineering domain, you will test and validate high-end automotive ECUs, ensuring high quality, custom solutions for future Bugatti and Rimac vehicles.

Where you’ll make an impact
Participating in ECU requirement definition and feasibility studies
Participating and assisting in system engineering on device level and beyond, including selection of specific components, thermal and mechanical considerations etc.
Review of schematic and layout designs from EHW tester perspective
Defining and organizing EHW test cases to test against existing requirements and standards
Defining equipment needed to perform tests, including defining the budget
Performing EHW tests in-house
Organizing tests in external laboratories
Writing test reports and supporting documentation
Suggesting fixes for identified issues
What are your core components
Three or more years of post-faculty experience with electronic hardware design or testing
Experience with various digital and analog electronics like operational amplifiers and their variations for analog signal processing, analog switches, multiplexers, ADCs, DACs, linear and switching power supplies, power supply protections, MCU/CPUs, logical digital devices, communication interfaces (SPI, I2C, UART, CAN), etc.
Experience with basic EMC and ESD tests
Familiar with relevant industry standards and regulations (ISO 7627, ISO 16750, LV 124, WV 8000, ECE-R10)
Ability to understand and localize potential noises and interference sources in schematics and PCBs, and finding solutions to minimize them
Basic understanding of the general automotive electrical architecture and the typical electrical devices inside of a car is desirable
Experience with the mechanical integration of PCBs in the enclosures and the ability to understand mechanical and thermal constraints
Ability to work in a multidisciplinary, young and energetic team with other hardware, software, mechanical and system engineers
Proactive and result oriented attitude and will to help and teach others
Ability to react fast and create solutions

Salary range: €37 500 – €57 500 gross per year (depending on experience)
