Electrical DMU Engineer

As an Electrical DMU Engineer, you will design vehicle level wiring topology and implement hardware withing the vehicle as well as contribute to design of components.  
Working across EE teams and other R&D departments, you will create wiring designs under your ownership in accordance to wiring schematic as well as implement devices, ensuring compliance to specific guidelines and consideration of internal standards.  

You will love this role if you enjoy collaborating in a multidisciplinary environment such as body, chassis, trims, powertrain and others in order to deliver solutions within the vehicle DMU environment. You will align internally with Expert engineers which will review, approve, guide and help you.  

 

Where you’ll make an impact 

  • Hardware packaging, layout and topology design. 

  • Preparing CAD data with all needed attributes and dress-up (electrification, clearance map, viewing angles, etc.) 

  • Wiring topology design and physical objects packaging according to design rules] Following PLM processes and internal standards. 

  • Supporting Vehicle build Methodology and process reporting into the Program for technical status across the function 

  • Comply with company and HR policies and process. 

  • Motivate and develop employees in technical delivery and skills as well as personal growth. 

  • Actively promote harmonization across Vehicle Technology, Engineering and Vehicle Integration groups. 

What are your core components 

  • Previous proven experience in a similar role within an automotive OEM or T1 supplier, preferably within premier Motorsports categories or within a low volume Supercar/Hypercar production. 

  • Ability to organise multiple technical inputs, summarise and present to program and C level. 

  • Able to manage a varied workload to tight deadlines. 

  • Demonstrated technical and professional background in 3DX (Catia) and Excellent team player and communicator, able to work with and motivate cross functional teams. 

  • Strong problem-solving skills.

Salary range: €37 500 - 57 500 gross per year (depending on experience)
